When approaching from the North / Flensburg (Motorway A7)
Drive through the tunnel under the river Elbe and leave the motorway at the exit “Hamburg Waltershof”. When in the exit lane, do not take the first lane off, but continue on the exit lane to its end and turn into “Finkenwerder Straße”. Get into the outside lane, drive over the bridge (Köhlbrandbrücke) and turn left at the first set of traffic lights into “Breslauer Straße”. Keep following the road until, on the right, the “Rosshafen Terminal” comes into view. Turn right into the terminal and immediately right again.
When approaching from the East / Berlin (Motorway A24)
When reaching the motorway junction “Hamburg Ost”, continue in the direction of Hannover/Bremen (motorway A1). At the motorway junction “Hamburg Süd” join the A255 in the direction of the city centre and after a short distance follow the A252 which continues as B75. Then turn right into “Mengestraße”, which continues as “Bei der Wollkämmerei” and bear half-right into “Reiherstieg Hauptdeich”. After approx. 450 m turn left into “Neuhöfer Straße” and continue in the direction of the A7 motorway Hannover/Flensburg. Pass the customs office and get into the right-hand lane of the road going off to the left. Do not cross the bridge, but turn right at the set of traffic lights. You should now be on the “Breslauer Straße”. Keep following the road until, on the right, the “Rosshafen Terminal” comes into view. Turn right into the terminal and immediately right again.
When approaching from the City
Use one of the access roads into the free port (e.g. Brooktor, Baumwall) and follow the signs for “Schuppen 91” as far as the foot of the bridge (Köhlbrandbrücke) in the direction of the A7 motorway. At the first set of traffic lights turn right into “Breslauer Straße”. Keep following the road until, on the right, the “Rosshafen Terminal” comes into view. Turn right into the terminal and immediately right again.
