By Road: From M6 Northbound:
Leave M6 at Junction 19. Follow A556 northbound and join M56 eastbound at Junction 7. Leave M56 at Junction 3 and follow M60 eastbound, in the direction of Stockport.
 
From M60 (previously M63):
Leave M60 at Junction 1 (previously Junction 12). Follow signs for town centre off roundabout, straight on at traffic lights. Follow signs for the A6 Manchester. At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit (by the Crown Inn public house) take a right-hand turn onto the A6 (southbound) for approx. 2½ miles. Pass the turn for Stepping Hill Hospital and take the next right-hand turn into New Moor Lane (George & Dragon public house on the corner) and continue past the hospital (on the right-hand side) over the railway bridge. Approx. 200 metres beyond the rail way bridge you will se the entrance to MAN B&W Diesel Ltd. on the right-hand side. Turn right and report to the gatehouse.
